Bon Voyage!

We are leaving for our cruise Sunday, so I won't be posting all week, but I will hopefully have lots of fun pictures to post when we get back next Sunday! (P.S. I wanted to post a picture of our cruise ship but I don't know how to post pictures from the internet yet, we have a mac and everything is more complicated!)

Emma Smith, My Story

This afternoon we had the amazing experience of watching the new movie, "Emma Smith, My Story" before it is completed and put out by the church. We watched it with the producer, Gary Cook, his wife, and the actress who plays the older Emma in the movie. The movie shows what a strong and incredible woman Emma really was. Before Joseph left for Carthage, Emma asked him for a blessing. Joseph told her to write down whatever blessing she desired and he would sign it and it would be granted unto her. Brother Cook gave Matt and I a copy of the blessing Emma wrote. You can see how strong her testimony was and how much faith she really had even after the countless trials she endured. I am so thankful for this very special opportunity we had and encourage everyone to see the movie when it comes out!

Christmas Recap

I wasn't blogging at Christmas, so I am posting a few pictures from Christmas now, mainly for my family that we didn't spend Christmas with. Wyatt was so excited to set out cookies and milk for Santa and an apple for Rudolph. Santa left lots of fun surprises for us this year!

The reason I finally blogged

Wyatt's best friend jacob came over to play yesterday. It was so cute how Emerson followed them around everywhere they went and had to do everything they did. He wanted to be one of the "big boys" so bad, he even had to stand by them to eat his popsicle. I took a picture and it turned out so cute, I thought, "I have to blog this!" So, I finally started a blog. I probably won't post very often, but we'll see.
