Matt and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on December 15. I am so thankful everyday that I chose to marry Matt 10 years ago, and for our 3 beautiful children. Whenever I have a bad day, I just think about my family and how lucky I am to have them, and then nothing else matters. I love these guys!

Happy 4th Birthday Emerson!
Emerson's Birthday was September 7, but we have been celebrating all week...
Monday they sang to him at El Torito
Tuesday I made cupcakes for his pre-school class, took him to McDonald's for lunch, and he got a new bike (no more big wheel).
We also went to Chuck E. Cheese's Tuesday night.
Sunday we celebrated with Grammy and Papa who had been out of town. I saw this cake in a magazine and thought it would be fun to try. It is called Monster cake, four layers of cakes with a pistachio cream filling and a dark chocolate ganache frosting. It was super yummy!
He had a great birthday, but I am exhausted and glad it is all over now.

1st Days of School
Wyatt started 2nd grade on Monday. So far he likes it and his two best friends are in his class this year!
Emerson started pre-school on Tuesday and was excited until it was time for mommy to leave. Then the tears started, but he ended up having a good day.
Albany started solids last month and loves those carrots!

Texas
Last week we went to Austin to visit my family. We had a great time and it was so fun to see everyone.
The boys and Matt and I went to Schlitterbahn, the biggest waterpark in the country, and had a blast. I grew up going here and always wanted to take my kids someday. Albany got to spend the day with Grandma.
One night all the boy cousins had a sleep over at Grandma's. They made a campfire out back and made s'mores, and stayed up late playing DS. The next day Matt took them to get shaved ice and candy.
We went to the Round Rock Express Baseball game.
And we did TONS of swimming.
Albany's first time in a pool.
Idaho
After Texas, we went to Idaho for a couple of days to visit Grandma Barclay and Carol's brother and sister. It was fun to see where Grammy grew up.
Albany and Grandma Barclay, the youngest and the oldest in our family. Gma Barclay will be 99 in October!
We went to Bear World where the boys got to bottle feed and pet baby bear cubs. They thought this was the coolest thing ever.

Happy Birthday Wyatt!
Yesterday Wyatt turned 7 years old! He had a great week. Monday he lost his other front tooth. Wednesday he got an RBI in his baseball game and scored a run for the team! Friday our family celebrated at Chuck E. Cheese's, and yesterday we had a little party at Grammy's house. He is also having a swim party with his friends soon. Happy Birthday Wyatt!
